Hiya! Yes it's possible but not as an mp3 file. I have found that you have to convert the mp3 to a wav file. I do this using Fission on my Mac but I'm sure there's a pc equivalent. When you send the wav file to the pda2k it will say it doesn't recognise the file. You need to 'send it anyway'. When you have it on your phone - there is an option under settings to 'add ringtone'. Once you have done this, the tone/song you are adding will be available for use AS a ringtone.
The pda2k will play mp3 just fine with windows media player but cannot use these as a ringtone unless you convert them. Hope it's of some help. Sonia

check the option of "discoverable to other" option in ur blue tooth option then u'll be able receive data and ring tone...copy ur tones to mydevice\windows\rings..then u'll b able to set ringtones...also may b ur mp3 tunes will not work..if not then u have to conver it to .wav or .arm..
I have an I-mate pda2k and have found that if I convert the mp3 to a wav file (using Fission on the mac) I can assign any of these as a ring tone. There is an option in settings to 'add ringtones' and this is where you set the wavs to be used. They do not have the ability to apply an mp3 as a ringtone, however they WILL play your mp3s with windows media player. Not a solution but a part explanation lol Hope it helps someone.
you cant set regular songs (mp3) as ring tones. only ring tone files (m4a,wav) as ring tones. they are shortened versions. try Http://www.nextpimp.com for some good ring tones that are totally free
