Google your year, make, and model and the words 'fuse box diagram'. Without knowing what your vehicle is, it is impossible to get you the right answer the first time.
On a 2002 cavalier, the fuse box is on the side of the driver side dash. Take the cover off look at the picture it will tell you which fuse is for the lighter.
buy a set of factory manuals used. There is not just one picture.
the fuse box in the driving area is in the owners manual. The engine compartment diagram is in a book called Mark VIII Electrical Vacuum and Troubleshooting Manual.
