My facebook about section is not working, how do i fix it?

My about tab still exists but when I click on it the about section is blank. I also cannot edit anything or see any of the "about me" information under the profile picture. It stopped working when I marked that I had graduated from my high school. It also does not work if i go to the mobile app and click the about section. It's frustrating. Thank you

1. Go to your Facebook privacy settings or click here: https://www.facebook.com/#!/settings/?tab=privacy

2. At the bottom of the Privacy Settings page there should be a small section called "Apps and Websites". Click on the link that says Edit Your Settings.

3. Choose "turn off all platform apps" or, if you want to remove apps one by one, click on Edit Settings in the Apps You Use section.

4. Click the "x" next to any Apps that you don't want anymore. This is how you remove Facebook Apps individually.

I hope this solves your problem! Good luck!

Hello,

You may have a browser issues. Try another computer and or another browser. See if the problem resolves itself. You can also try clearing all private data, history and cookies from your internet browser. In firefox, you can do this by going to tools, clear recent history. In internet explorer, go to Tools > internet options > under the general tab locate the browsing history section and click delete.

Also, keep in mind that Facebook technical support will sometimes bring down certain profiles to perform maintenance.

This seems to be happening more & more... frustrating isn't it!
First reload the page.

If that doesn't fix the problem,
~ close the tab/window
~ clear your cache {for how to do this... it depends on which browser you're using}
~ then reload Facebook & log in
~ go to your messages, then
~ click on your message

Please go to Tools, internet options. Click the general tab and find where it says Delete and deleted everything in there. Then click on the security tab at the top of it. Then go through each of the 4 and make sure the button that says Default level is not able to be clicked, if it is please click it. Then click the tab that says Content and delete SSL. Close out of Internet explorer and reopen it. If that still doesnt work go back to internet options, click the advanced tab and reset Internet explorer. Hope this helps
