Bear with me, please. Adjust the temp at the physical valve?
Interesting at the least. Never seen or heard of that. They come up with something new everyday. I'm going to follow this for my own benefit. Thank you. And good luck. - Ned

SOURCE: I have a pioneer shower valve that has pressure problem

The way anti-scald valves work is there is a slide tube inside the faucet which requires pressure from both hot and cold or else it will cut off the flow. As for temperature adjust I do not believe there is an adjustment screw but more so there are these white plastic toothed stop rings which prevent the handle from turning 360 degrees. When your adjust the stop ring, it adjusts how much hot water is allowed to mix with the cold water. My wife likes her showers a lot hotter than I, so I gave a good allowance with the stop ring. The "adjustment screws" which you are viewing are not for adjustment of temperature, they are remote cut-off screws to stop the water entirely to change the washers in the unit if needed. SO open those all the way and leave them open. Think of them as not having to go all the way into the basement to shut off the water supply just to change a few washers.

I need a replacement handle, including all the parts and hoses, on my Price Pfister Marielle kitchen faucet model # T26-4NEE

Most new kitchen faucets feature single-handle control levers and washerless designs that rarely require maintenance. Additional features include brushed metallic finishes, detachable spray nozzles, or even push-button controls.Connect the faucet to hot and cold water lines with easy-to-install flexible supply tubes made-from vinyl or braided steel. If your faucet has a separate sprayer, install the sprayer first. Pull the sprayer hose through the sink opening and attach to the faucet body before installing the faucet.

Where local codes allow, use plastic tubes for drain hookups. A wide selection of extensions and angle fittings lets you easily plumb any sink configuration. Manufacturers offer kits that contain all the fittings needed for attaching a food disposer or dishwasher to the sink drain system.

Set water temp

remove the handle, find the plastic disk with teeth, pull out disk and turn to left for hot, right for cold, set disk back in place, then replace the handle, repeat as necessary.

How do you remove the handle to replace valve?

Unscrew top button.
Using a phillips screw driver remove handle retaining screw and work off handle.
If it leaks under the handle you need to unscrew the top cap, use a strap wrench to hold the body and tighten the brass retainer ring with an adjustable wrench. Or remove the ring to replace the cartridge.

Single handle shower faucet never gets hot. temp is turned all the way up on the gears.

If you are sure anti-scald adjustment is all the way up,then you have a bad cartridge, you need to replace the cartridge to solve the problem.

Water it too cold adjusted all the way hot . folowed procedure and adjusted the temp regulator all the way hot but still runs lukewarm at best.

Turn off the water at the main shutoff valve and remove the cartridge. Soak it in white vinegar for an hour to remove any varnish deposits and make sure that the parts move freely - or just replace the cartridge. I'm assuming that you get hot water everywhere else and that the cutoffs (if installed) are open and that no lines are kinked. If you're the original owner of the faucet PF will send a new cartridge for free.

I have a price Pfister Marielle kitchen faucet. The valve body leaks when handle is in off position.

There is an o-ring around the valve body inside the outer shell. This needs replacing -- sometimes you can match these at hardware stores.

Shut water off, remove handle, pull up outer shell, you'll see the o-ring.

More info, let me know.

No hot water.

remove handle (screw driver) then remove plate (same tool). just inside the valve is a small round bit of plastic with little teeth on it. this the temp control. remove this by popping it out and turn it about a quarter turn clockwise. this will allow the handle to turn more into the hot zone.

Handle on faucet shuts off on its own

I had the same problem. The Price Pfister web site recommends removing the handle (unscrew the dome cap, then remove the phillips screw to get the handle off) then tightening the retaining ring (I used channel lock pliers on largest setting. It worked. However the retaining ring is plastic on some models, and they recommend replacing it with a brass one. I haven't taken that step yet, we'll see how it goes (mine is plastic).
