Fill your carafe about an 1/8" over the target cup line. Remember some water in the tank is lost to evaporation, and some water remains in the used coffee grounds. Adding a little extra water makes up for that.

If this unit is new and it is doing this, contact the company you purchased the unit from. They should make the adjustments needed.

If this is an old unit, and this just started, you may have a scale build up in the water supply. If that is the case, then it needs to be de-scaled.

The system uses a timer and solenoid valve for controling the water supply. If the valve is scaled up, it will not work correctly.

Also change the in-line water filter.

SOURCE: COFFEE MACHINE KEEPS FIL;LING UP AND OVERFLOWS.

Dunkin Donuts decaf coffee clogs the filter as the water fills the basket causing the basket to overflow. The coffee is ground too fine. Swtich brands or use a second filter to cover the coffee grounds to keep them from floating and clogging the filter.

Water not filtering quick enough, basket overflows

Make sure your sprayhead is the proper one (5 hole) and in good shape. Also make sure that the hole on your filter basket has not been partially closed. This can happen if you set it on the hot warmer. As a last resort, you can slightly enlarge the hole in your filter basket.

Coffee doesn't fall in bag (bunnomatic G1 coffee grinder)

keep clicking the De-chaf lever on the right. This tamps down all the loose grounds. Static is common with coffee due to the low humidity of the grounds (even here in Hawaii) try attaching a small metal chain to the grinder case with a used coffee clip on the end of the chain to attach to the empty bag. This will help it 'ground' out the static to the case.

Hello. Here is the owners manual for your unit that tells how to clean and delime your machine, if it requires parts, it looks like you will have to contact a local servicer, or Bunnomatic.

WE have VPR that is making weak coffee.

Hello. Have you checked your temperature of the water? If it is not hot enough, 185 to 195, it will not extract the coffee properly, causing a weak brew. Putting the spring through the spray tube does not necessarily clean the whole water brew system, and you could still have a flow problem to the sprayhead. You can check it, just pour in water, no coffee or filter, the funnel in place, a pan or something to catch the water, and while it is brewing, with a flashlight, pull down, or forward enough on the funnel to look at the spray head, there should be 5 or 6 streams of water coming out of the sprayer. If it is dribbling out, and down the sprayer, or not a decent flow from the holes, you still have a blockage somewhere. You can go here to get a parts manual for your unit, to see how things come apart etc..

http://www.bunnomatic.com/pages/techdocs/manuals/pourbrew_warm.html

You may just need additional cleaning, if it is bad, it may require chemicals.

Hope that helped, and thank you.
