How do I adjust the auto focus on my web cam?

maybe it was in your pixel adjustment in your web cam...
or try wiping of your web cam with soft cloth..
while using your camera face in an open window or light...

check the web cam wire weather it is connected properly.Or Change the USB port. And focus the light on your face not on the wed cam.

Hi - Try this:
1) In the Crazy Talk Cam Suite that came with the camera, click the Settings button.
2) The Settings dialog box displays. Select the Avatar Live! tab, unselect Face tracking to trigger head movement. Click OK.
3) In the main Crazy Talk Cam Suite window, unselect Enable Facial Tracking.

Is the audio not clear or the video not clear?.

If the camera is plugged in and installed correctly then you should be able to open up a web cam program like skype, gmail or messenger and test out the camera, as well as adjust the camera's settings.

If the camera lens does not have auto focus, see if you can move the camera lens around in both directions. Some cameras have this for manual focusing. If you cannot access the camera lens then it SHOULD have an auto focus feature.

Also, play around with the camera settings (brightness, focus, zoom, sharpness) to find the best combination of setting for your environment.

Older cameras dont have very good resolutions so don't expect a high quality image or frame rate.

Some webcams have a focus on the front of the lense that you turn. Try truning whatever you can on the webcam.

Please change the focus of the webcam, (if not available in webcam, you can control from the webcam software--- check the focus utilities)

Most Web Cams have a lens that can be turned right or left to focus the lens. Have them view you and adjust the lens both ways to see if that helps. If you can view yourself and its clear it may not help adjusting the lens. But its worth a try. Hope it helps. Bud

There are basically 2 adjustment can be made to focus your webcam, 1st is by the webcam software, try to search from the software any feature that can focus your webcam. The 2nd is the mechanical adjustment on the webcam itself, try to rotate the focus ring (webcam's eye) and see how the picture improvement.
