Fiery rip not seeing dc12

You need install patch "1-56CTS.ps". Try to find it via web.
Also install Fiery Downloader app. Go to File->Download and choose file "1-56CTS.ps". Then reboot a fiery and problem must go away.

There are some Mac OS drivers.I think your printer is not compatible with Mac.

Remember some times Windows Vista disable the spool service, only you have to enanble it and ready..

you can not run two device from one fiery this would cause job processing and spooling issues.

at the end of setting up network settings it should ask if you want to save settings, click yes then its enabled. i have never had a fiery that doesnt hold its settings so its probably something you arent pressing.
there is an issue with one of the mac OS's that it just doesnt like the old fiery rips and you will never be able to print, but i'm not that clued up on the mac side and cant remember, sorry.
from your add printer section it should automatically see the x12 and give you the options of a hold,print and direct queue. I f you havent got a pc then the only queues that is useful to you is direct. Print holds the job on the hard drive and will eventually fill the server

The problem is because it has a bad or missing conection with the fiery. Try to reconect the cable from the printer to the fiery. if not change the cable because is brocken

don't upgrade the xp, it runs a limited version to ensure that the command workstation works ok. A reload is probably in order to start again. Any updates can generally be found on the xerox website, and installed via command workstation
