Ok, got a used Bearcat from a Garage sale. I turned it on, only to find that it was Locked out (L/O) on all channels. I TRYED the "Restore all locked-out channels" section in the manual. However, ALL channels still remains locked. I get the "beep beep", saying they are should be unlocked and they aren't. I get the Wx channel fine. I want to do a scan, however, it will not scan at all, just stays on the 000.0000 frequency.
What I see:

Changed to other channels 2-30 and still appears the same as above. Please Help.
If all the channels are 000.000 then it wont scann youll have to hit manual then enter a freq then hit the "e" button. once you hit manual youll be able to push the up and down arrows to select an channel you wish to imput a feq. Hope this helps.

Try to go to the channel that is lockout and push the L/O button and repeat for all channels

The squelch is hung up or on all the time have no control of it
You do not have any frequencies programed on the scanner

Channels have to be programmed with a frequency before the scanner will allow them to be unlocked. The L/O indicator should automatically turn off once a frequency is in memory.
