What are other uses for the Belkin back up battery Rev 2?

Moss Fet Transistors Failure.
When an UPS works too Much time power line disconnect always the UPS only works for a while. too much time working with the Batteries inside makes the power converting transistors overheating and failure.

Check Internal Fuses, inside the UPs there is an automotive Fuses(30 Amps) plug tipe like in cars.

if the fuses are OK .........................then check it by a Technician.

Check it by a Qualified Technician and check the Mossfets.

Should be ok if power supply same voltage as original.
Make sure you connect correct way around.

If you have NOT changed the default password, that is:

If you have changed it, just reset the router and use above passwords.

Check on the underside of the unit, there may be a sticker with your SSID on it. If you need to you can also reset the password back to the factory default by holding down the reset button. You can also download the instruction manual from here:

check out this picture, it shows the 2 batteries wired up.

Notice that the batteries are flipped opposite of each other.
So from left to right its: bottom red, bottom black, top black, top red

Between the 2 batteries there is 1 red to black connection.
Then black to black-wire to circuit board
and red to red-wire to circuit board.

KVM are not the most reliable and will fail sometimes. The quickest way to get it back is to plug into a different USB port for the one that is active.

Hi,

Surge protector, minimizes voltage spikes or burst that could damage your electronics. You may not see it doing anything but it does. It clips those voltages to the right rating befrore letting them in to your system.
