When i give power from porew supply to foxconn motherboard g31, the does not come.
Many potential reasons--unfortunately including motherboard DOA, mem DOA, CPU DOA.
Sometimes, even a mere bum PCI-E I/O card will halt function completely, too! Removing such a card may restore nominal function.
Is the heatsink installed correctly--with the correct amount of thermal paste? Is the fan connected to the motherboard fan connectors? Is the secondary power connector from the power supply connected? It's the power connector which fits a special motherboard socket of 4 or 8 pins--that's in addition to the main connector with 20- or 24-pins. (This is not a high-powered PCI-E video card dedicated-power connector!)

Hi aligmatos, it is suggested that you use a 24-pin main power connector if you are going to fill up the motherboard & use a PCI-Express graphics card & Dual-Core Pentium CPU. The power supply should not be less than a 450W for this board, 550W would be better. You can use a 20-pin main connector but its not suggested. Make sure you connect the 4-pin 12V power connector. Your motherboard should still function with a 20-pin main power connector. Again I would not suggest it.

well really it doesn't matter to an extent, because you can easily upgrade you powersupply to something bigger and not worry about it aslong as it has the right connections for your motherboard (most are all the same and work for about any motherboard but there are some funny ones) just read the specifications on the power supply and see what type of cords are included and how many. The power in your power supply really just means how much your pc can handle at once, for instance i run ATI Crossfire with 2 really powerful graphics cards and the minimum required power supply amount is 500w so to be safe I'd get one of 550 or 600 incase I had some other really powerful hardware that would need to use it.

You maybe have to unzip the file before installation.
