Flashing UE - The display shows:
• Load is too small.
• Load is out of balance.
• The washer has an imbalance detection and correction system. If individual heavy articles are loaded (bath mat, bath robe, etc.) and the imbalance is too great, the washer will make several attempts to restart the spin cycle. If an imbalance is still detected, the washer will stop and the error code will be
displayed.

Possible Solution
• Add 1 or 2 similar items to help balance the load.
• Rearrange items to help balance the load.
• Control error.

Hi there le means there is a small hole in the pressure tube where it joins onto the pressure switch this is caused by the ballist weight jumping up and chaffing the tube , simply cut off about one cm of the affected tube and refit.

hope this is of some help.

The LE error or fault code indicates that the washer motor is either overheating or has lost connection to the motor control circuit board. Turn off the machine for 30 minutes to let the motor cool down. Then, restart the washer. If the code comes back immediately the motor is not likely to be at fault and so you should check the wiring from the motor to the motor control board. Also, check the wiring and condition of the rotor position sensor, also called a HALL sensor. If the code doesn't come back on immediately, but returns after the washer has run for a while, the motor stator may be defective.
IE error code is Inlet Error, the solenoid valve on the water inlet is faulty.
OE error code is Overflow Error is a draining problem, normally caused by the drain pump.

I have an lg tromm front load washer and it keeps displaying an LE code. Is there a fix for it

Hi

Thanks for using FixYa. LE error message indicates the control board has detected that the motor is either not turning, or has locked up for some reason. Monitoring the motor is the job of the Hall Effect sensor board which constantly determines the direction and speed of the motor and feeds that information back to the control board. If there is a problem between what the motor should be doing and what the hall effect sensor says the motor is doing, the 'LE' will be displayed and the cycle will be stopped. The hall sensor is rather easy to replace, and is covered by a seven year part warranty (in US). It only takes around half hour to replace it with a new one. Take the back cover off. Take the big nut off and remove the motor rotor. Remove the bolts holding the motor windings. Remove the electric plug on the sensor and unclip it from the motor winding. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.

Thanks

I have an LG Tromm washer. I start it up it start

Hi,

LE code stands for locked motor error. When this error code appears in your front load washer it indicates a fault in the motor unit.

1 . Check the connections to the Coil/Stator at the rear of the unit possibly it should be something like a broken wire.

2 . Coil/Stator Assembly will be defective preventing the drive to operate. You should go for a replacement of that assembly.

Thank you !!

LG TROMM displays LE

LE stands for Load Error,
First try unplugging the machine for a few minutes and then retry a cycle. If you still get the LE error:

The Hall sensor (part number 6501KW2001A) has failed. The hall sensor is rather easy to replace, and is covered by a seven year part warranty (in the US). Take the back cover off. Take the big nut off and remove the motor rotor. Remove the bolts holding the motor windings. Remove the electric plug on the sensor and unclip it from the motor winding. Snap new sensor on and reassemble. Usually takes under a half hour. On a difficulty scale of 1 - 10, it might rate a 4. This should be a Fix-Ya for your machine, and at basically no cost!
In the US, find a service provider using your zip code at http://us.lgservice.com/index_b2c.jsp or call LG at 800-243-0000
