Back to Telstra I'm afraid. If it's new let them sort it out, if it's not try a reset take the sim card out first then input this code *#7780# (Best to use this code as a last resort)

this problem is caused by viruses,which enters ur mobile when u transfer files from untrusted mobiles,they first attack ur memory card and corrupt files and eventually they delete the files also...
the best solution is to format the memory card and reinstall the mobile software from the nearest service centre.....

There are different two ways of solving this nature of problem carefully off the phone for some time then on it after some time if the problem remain then make use of your USB cord to retain the power of the phone connected to the computer check on my computer (data) to copy your date in the phone
But on the numbers in the SIM remove the sim and then replace it another phone then you will be able to retrieve the date in the SIM .

Try the following :- Enter 9999, and if that doesn't work try 1111 Remove the battery and note
the IMEI number on the label. Replace the battery and enter the last 4 digits
of the IMEI number. If none of these work, then
call your cell phone provider and request an unlock PIN number. You need to
provide information that you are the owner of the cell phone, the cell phone
number, and your address etc. This may work - Type #lock* then (END) It unlocks your phone, and displays
your password.
