AEG FFE62620PM dishwasher had error code i30 for second time in 2 months. How do I remove the plinth?

To remove the plinth on your AEG FFE62620PM dishwasher, please follow these steps:
  1. Turn off the power supply to the dishwasher by unplugging it or turning off the circuit breaker.
  2. Open the dishwasher door and locate the two screws on the bottom of the plinth. These screws are located on either side of the dishwasher and are usually covered by plastic caps.
  3. Remove the plastic caps and use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws.
  4. Pull the plinth away from the dishwasher to remove it. It may be helpful to have someone hold the dishwasher steady while you do this.
  5. Once the plinth is removed, you should be able to access the base of the dishwasher and any components located there.
  6. If you need to reinstall the plinth, simply reverse the above steps.

How do I fix a F53 fault on a Miele W3740 Washing Machine

First, unplug the washer for minutes then plug in and see if it solve the problem, if not then check the carbon brushes on the motor. These are a part which is expected to wear and when they do the motor cannot rotate the drum, which means the speed sensor thinks something is wrong and throws the error.good luck. How do you open the front panel to check the brushes

  • Open the door
  • Pull out the mains plug
  • Remove the metal ring around the door opening seal (apply pointed pliers to stretch the spring beneath the door opening)
  • Push back the seal from the front panel
  • Loosen the two door opener screws
  • Remove the plinth
  • Remove the two outer upper screws behind the plinth
  • Remove the bolt right underneath the door opening while supporting the front panel
  • Gently lower the front panel and take it away
If the brushes are all right, then probably the electronic is defective.

Cannot open door

The door interlock may not have engaged properly! This has happened to me and I use my knee and bang it against the door near the catch and once the lock is engaged the door open button will work. If not you'll need to remove the rectangular access panel above the plinth and get a flat head screwdriver in the slots to open the door.

I just got a ntc Temperature Sensor for a W1213 Washer and was wondering how easy it is to change??

Easy.

Make sure there's no water in the drum.

Important! Switch off and remove plug from electricity supply!

Remove front base plinth (pulls off use a plastic lever if necessary - one inside soap dispenser drawer). Remove front panel of machine (torx screws at bottom, torx screw under drum. Slacken wire around door seal and remove (hook it with a smallish screwdriver. Do not damage seal. they are ridiculously expensive).

Unclip seal from front panel. Pull front panel out from the bottom, then down. Reach around the now detached front panel and unclip door lock wiring). Put panel somewhere it won't fall over.

Locate element underneath drum at the front - oval rubber with connections to it.

Temperature sensor is in the middle of the element. Unclip the plug from the back of the sensor. Gently but firmly pull the sensor out toward you. It's just a friction fit in the rubber. you can use narrow pliers but don't crush the socket of the sensor. If you want to test it, put a multimeter set to ohms on it. Resistance will vary under say a hot or cold tap/faucet.

New temperature sensor will push fit into old hole - moisten case first to make it easier with a tiny bit of washing up liquid (or spit!). You might want to test it first as above.

Reconnect wires, lock harness, front panel, attach door seal, attach door seal retaining wire, screws, base plinth.

Congratulate yourself on saving shed loads of cash.
