The sl500 includes 4 buttons on either side of the touchpad. The buttons on the right side of the touchpad are designated for a right-click by default. The menu key may also be used to simulate a right - click.

I can't disable touch pad

There should be a touch pad icon in lower right where your tasbar is, right click for options to disable, if no luck! go into device manager, it will give a list of drivers, locate the touch pad, click on plus to the left and right click, there should be a choice to disable, click over that to disable.

My mouse on my satellite a660 scrolls up,down,left and right without a glitch but i can't get it to double click and enter to open up pages. on the opening windows 7 blue page where the little icon...

hello friend,
I THINK THE PROBLEM IS FROM THE MOUSE PAD, I THINK IS EITHER YOUR HAND IS WET OR SOME LITTLE WATER POURED ON IT, IF NOT, THEN IT IS DEVELOPING SOME FAULTS THAT I THINK MAY TAKE SOME TIME. PLEASE IF YOU CAN LOOK FOR AN EXTERNAL MOUSE TO USE FOR THE MINE TIME NOW AND AVOID TOUCHING THE MOUSE PAD FOR SOME TIME THEN I THINK IT WILL COME BACK TO NORMAL LATTER.

Hi there. My entire scroll pad/finger pad for my e730 stopped working the other day. I have restarted it several times, with no help.

I think it's a driver problem. Do the following;
1. Open "Control Panel" 2. Expand the "Mice and Other Pointing Device" 3. Uninstall your Touchpad from the menu by right-clicking on it. 4. After that, right-click on "Mice and Other Pointing Device" 5. Click "Scan for Hardware Changes" and it wait for your computer to automatically ddetect your touchpad and reinstall it.
Try using the touchpad.

Cannot double click on my mouse pad to make a selection.

This tends to happen in vista due to some driver compatibility issues and has nothing to do with your click speed. Download and install the latest driver and I am positive that it would resolve the issue.

Windows keep popping up

I've had this happen to me by accident once and a while. if it's many months then possibly re-installing the touchpad drivers (or updating them) would help.
You can also adjust mouse settings in the control panel, found in my computer on the left side of the window.
Hope this helps a little, It does sound like the buttons are sticky. be sure to rate! :)
