How to fit mower belt to husqvarna cth151? - Husqvarna Garden

Bring your old belt to your local mower shop. They can match up a new one for you

If you go to www.Husqvarna.com/us you can put in your model number and get an IPL or owner's manual this will show you how the belt fits on the tractor.

Its not fitted correctly. Make sure you have the correct belt and that it goes through all the guides and the jockey pulley.

There are so many reasons for this it could take all day! First check the safety cut-out switches: seat, brake, drive lever and blade control, etc. Then check the battery leads and connections are clean and tight at the battery, starter solenoid and starter. If still no luck make sure the engine will actually turn over by removing the spark plug(s) and turning the drive pulley. Good luck!

Its pretty straight forward to fit the cable, if it is not pulling the jockey hard enough into the belt it is more likly the belt is incorrectly fitted or has stretched.

There is a schematic sticker on the under side of one of the foot wells to show the belt orientation.

There are four micro switches on this mower. Go to www.gardenresources.co.uk/ Look at the bottom of the page for husqvarna tractors, then to further reading, click on husqvarna manuals, click on husqvarna ride on mowers, then click on cth151 xp. It will bring up the operator's manual in PDF format. About page 23 it should have a diagram showing the electrical part of the mower.
