Unable to get India maps for loading in to it. Can you help by letting me know how to go about?

You should contact Sanyo.
The maps on the device are from Navteq (smart2go).
Sanyo isn't on the manufacturer list.

Installing mio pocket on Sanyo 4370

As long as you did not delete any of the Sanyo files MioPocket should not interfere with the original software.

My sanyo nvm 4370 video option say no video player installed

This unit only supports MPEG4/H.264 file. The files format has to be .MP4. This unit cannot play all MPEG4/H.264 movie files. Most movies out there are converted using DivX or XviD codec so if you need to convert them to this supported format. It will mostly cost you time if you found a free converter.

If you don't have time. You might try my basic hack to add a 3rd party media player that will play almost everything out there and it also supports sub-titles. You can check out my video on YT @ http://www.youtube.com/KhaKev.

MAP UPGRADE FOR SANYO NVM-4050

Unfortunately there is no solution...... I contacted NAVTEQ and I’ve got the following answer:

Thank you for contacting NAVTEQ. Currently Sanyo does utilize our map databases however we do not produce nor distribute discs for their systems at this time. For information please contact Sanyo directly at http://sanyoservice.custhelp.com or 800.421.5013; select option 2 then 3.

After that, I called 1800 as suggested and I got the answer I didn’t want to hear:

Sanyo said that “The policy of the company is not to update NVM4050 EVER… the only one to be update is NVM 4370” ….

So, we are stuck with our NVM4050…..

How about everybody that owns a NVM4050 calls them ?!?!?!?!

SANYO has put a new upgrade for the maps for this specific navigator model. Type in the Sanyo model number and map upgrade in google and you will find it. BUT, and this is a big BUT, the upgrade will cost $75. With that price, you could buy a new upgraded navigator.

Got this off a website

CAUTION - I called SANYO's customer service @ (800) 421-5013 to ask about map upgrades, getting maps for other countries for the SANYO NVM -4370. The answer: THERE IS NO CURRENT ABILITY TO UPGRADE EITHER SOFTWARE OR MAPS!!
