My Samsung washer has an error code UR - Samsung washing machines and I do not know what it means.

The UR code indicates Unbalanced Load, Retry. That means that the washer continued to spin the drum but at a slower speed. If the error changes to UE or Ub, then the attempt to spin at a slower speed failed.

Unbalanced loads can be caused by the distribution of items in the washer. It can also indicate something between the washer drum and the surrounding tub. Similarly a problem with the bearings or tub supports can cause an imbalance in the system.

I hope this helps.

On the spin cycle my samsung front load washer wibbles and vibrates badly. I have replaced the shocks but that didn't work. What else could it be?

Check that it is level and that all the water is draining out when the wash cycle is complete. Check that the wash drum and all associated parts are correctly in place and are secure. Check the drum for excessive play, replace defective parts.
Also look for loose objects from clothing that may be jammed out of site but causing centrifugal throwout vibration.

Samsung washer wf218anw

Possible that the washer is not stable due to level adjustment. Use a spirit level to set the washer so that it will be stable. Check the drum movement and the motor /drum mountings. If you find there is PLAY on the fittings then it must be reset.
Check this link: Drum Bearings.

If a front load washer is being shipped with only 3 shipping bolts ( from korea to USA),would the washer be OK or there could be possible damage to the drum/washer in anyway?

3 bolts will be ok, The drum cannot move and as long as the other 3 bolts are intact and not broken then there won't be any damage to the machine.

I never heard of a washer gasket of drum....Just try to look closer new as your machine is usually something that cld be easily sorted, check if pipes aren' loose or broken.

Washer is making a rapping noise on all cycles

The drum may have become damaged if it was moved without securing the drum.
Your washer probably came with drum "bolts" to hold it securely while moving it.

Water in drum

The swish water sound that you hear in the drum is normal. There is some liquid in the drum for balancing. The washer doesnt use that liquid for laundry. The odor smell - you can get rid of it by cleaning your washer. Run empty cycle with bleach and hot water at least once a month. Also use washer cleaner - Tide recommended for a nice cleaner smell. You can get it from any supermarket.

Not enough water in the drum during the washing cycle

If its a High efficiency washer it doesn't use much water. Usually the front load washers are HE washers

WASHER DRUM PROBLEM EXCESSICE MOVEMONT

Have you checked the drum bearing? The bearing is on the very bottom attached to the drum. If this bearing has broken it will allow for excessive play in the drum, Also make sure every bolt is secure and tight
