Your disc must have the same region code with your player's region code, or you won't be able to play it. However you can always play region locked disc on PC with region free player software, or you can rip it to MP4 and play it.

try to unlock your dvd player to play all free region. what you need is the code to unlock and a remote control to enter the into menu/programming mode. please specify model # of your dvd player when you look for the unlock key.

Turn on power. Open lid. Enter 9735 with the remote and press 'enter', you can now choose between regions on the screen. Select the desired region unlock and press 'enter'. This works well!

DVDs have region codes to prevent black-market selling of them and whatnot. Where did you buy the DVD? Where did you buy your DVD player?

I don't think so. What if you moved to another country? What if you decided to take your player on your yacht and sit out in international waters watching DVDs?

Try deregioning the hardware. Get the make and model number and enter it with "de-region" or "DVD region hack" into google. You may find instructions for de-regioning the player. It usually consists of taking any discs out, restarting the machine and then entering a number code that allows you to set the region to "0". Most of the cheaper, Chinese-made DVD players have a work-around like this. Post the model and maybe I can find it for you.

3. stop 
4. applay code : 734466 
5. select region 0 
6. exit setup

Hi,
I have a region Code For A Philips HTS-3544 which is 1 model Down. You can try it, it may work or it May Not.
Heres How:- power on the TV/DVD without any disk in the player.Press open/close eject.
Press Stop 7.3.4.4.6.6 ( on the Remote )
The menu code appears On The Screen.
Press 0 for region Free, or the region Code Required.
Power Off and then on Again, if the codes have worked, your dvd player is now region free.

do you insert DVD-/+R? or original DVD

1. if you insert original DVD you have to search the code to change your regional code and try with ALLZone. search on the web with your model.
2. if you insert DVD-/+R probaly you have just to clean up your laser with a clean up CD

There are codes to enable All Region Play.

Do a Google search using the following string:

(Brand Name) (Model Number) +"region free"

You must include the + symbol and the " marks in the search.

This should locate either Firmware or a Region Free code to be used with your DVD player.
