I have Gestetner DSM622 SP, Iam getting Errer code SC546, can someone explain me thanks

sc546 is a fuser temperature detect error. One or both of the thermistors most likely need to be cleaned or replaced, but you will have to go into service mode to reset the code once you do that. You should contact your local service technician or Gestetner dealer, as they can easily fix that problem.

Error code 010-397 dell printer 5100. Have change fuser and restart printer keeps coming up as error message

) The fuser gets very Hot!! Let cool for 10 minutes after turning off the power and unplugging the copier!

2) Pull the two blue locking tabs forward and remove the fuser unit. Reinsert and push back on the tabs to lock back into place. Sometimes just reinserting the fuser will allow the catch on the locking tab to function correctly and push the trigger on the sensing unit. Turn the copier back on and pray the error code doesn't reappear..
3) Mine reappeared. Evidently the catch on the fuser unit was still not pushing the trigger forward, causing the copier to surmise that no fuser unit was installed.

I have 1045 model, more times error sc546 comming

SC546 is htermistor reading in the fuser is not getting a correct reading.. this could be due to toner build up on the face of the thermistor open up the front of the machine the fuser is at top right hand side. there is a screw under it to release the unit. open the side dooor and you can pull teh unit out. have a look at the surface of teh rollers if they look shiny black they are ok if there is any wear on them they may need changing. to clear the code enter the service mode by pressing the yellow clear button at top of number pad then enter 107 then hold down the stop button till teh screen changes to sp mode,, you need to look for section 5.mode then scroll to 810 sc reset .. execute this and turn off the machine wait 5 secs and turn back on.. this should clear your code . if this keeps coming up the thermistors may need to be changed they ar cheap and you could change them yourself.. if you need more details let me know. Good Luck A

Getting code H 3

The printer repair guy just left. I'm paraphrasing what he told me:

The Sharp MX4501N was displaying the error: H3-04. This does mean that the printer was reading an above average temperature for the fuser, for some reason.

He said that in his experience, 90% of the time, this is due to power surges/spikes and not an actual incident of the fuser over heating. A good surge protector isn't normally enough and he recommended that we look around for a cheap UPS to condition the power.

Other things that can cause a higher than average reading of the fuser can be caused by paper jams, where a piece or pieces of the paper are lodges inside, insulating the fuser and restricting air flow to the internal compnents. Printing 15-25 blank sheets through the copier can usually dislodge these. If not, call for assistance.

In order to clear the error code (H3-04) from possible powewr surges/pikes, I was given the following code: #P, *, C, 1,4 PRINT
This will remove most of the codes restricting printing to the copier, however, should the code reappear, contact customer service and arrange for a visit from the local repair person.

I hope this helps anyone else who may run in to the same problemThe error: H3-04. This does mean that the printer was reading an above average temperature for the fuser, for some reason.

TECH SUPPORT

SC-546 is "Warm-up" error, suggests that the fuser is NOT reaching 160' within standard warmup time.

Possible solution: Remove fuser cover, remove carbon buildup from thermistor.

I had to replace the fuser unit but it had 180,000 copies - service is 120,000

Konica photocopier

My service info doesn't go back that far either, but this procedure should work to reset the code. However, I would make sure there's no toner build-up on the fuser thermistor or thermostat first, otherwise the code will reappear.

Here's the instructions on clearing the code:

Enter the 25 mode by holding down the 2 and 5 keys while turning on the copier.
Press the P key, then enter 47, then press P again.
Enter 0 and press the Print key.
Turn the machine off/on to exit the 25 mode.

If the code reappears, then theres a problem. If it doesn't, you're good to go!
