You will notice there is a little hook that the spring thing fits into on the device. You want the smaller part of the spring facing upwards and it should tuck in smoothly.

This is the smaller part of the spring facing upwards:

Then it gets tucked in as such:

Take note from the above photo that the square edges on the plastic piece go at the top of the blade piece and the rounded edges are at the bottom.

Then the bottom blade piece rests on top with the curvature facing upwards: putting-wahl-9307-back-together-g0fa4lo4hxabacpjggd4qk4j-2-5.jpg
The rest should be straightforward!

This is utterly, completely, totally wrong. The spring goes in with the circular parts facing into the clipper, not as shown in this very, very, bad example. The spring must exert pressure on the blade assembly, otherwise it will not cut.

yeah, that spring needs to be turned a full 180? with the prong ends sat in the two retaining bays either side of the piece that sits on the motor on the plastic piece that attaches to the top blade,

The pictures made the reassembling go so much easier. Thank you!

My wahl 9307a trimmer was running really slow and after replacing the batteries I took the screws out on the metal blade. It was clogged with hair. But when the 3 pieces came off the trimmer I can't remember the placement. The small metal wire with hoops on one end and straight wire on the other- I have tried to put it in every way possible (sitting it in the cradle supporting the smaller blade under the large one). I have taken apart the entire trimmer and tried several other placements. The best placement seems when it sits in the small cradle and supports the smaller blade. But when I put the outer blade on and screw together it will not turn on. Tried several times 3 hours on this now and I need help. Please send a photo of which way you put in the metal wire thing. The exact placement. Are there holes for the legs or it rests in the cradle? Help. Email me [email protected]

There are three parts involved. 1. Spring, 2. black plastic part and 3. silver outer blade. The spring goes in first so that the prongs (ends) are facing outward and the slant on the tips points towards the top of the razor, not toward the bottom. Next, on the back of the plastic part, you will notice channel grooves on the left and right sides. These funnel the tips of the spring into the proper position when assembled. This part goes into the blade so that the "funnels" point towards the blade, not away from it. I believe this piece will only fit the correct way onto the black blade. With the black plastic part on the black blade, you can now engage the tips of the spring into the "funnels" which hold the spring in place. Push the entire assembly toward the back of the clipper. Hold it in place and put the silver blade on top, and put in the screws. That's the only tricky part.

Blade assembly: My WAHL Peanut trimmer hit the floor and fell apart.. How do I reassemble the blade which has also detached.

if it broke apart when it hit the floor then you will have more problems than just putting the blades back on. those are fairly well put together so coming apart means they hit pretty hard. you wont ever get them to cut right even if they go back together. your gunna have to just buy new ones.

Cannot re-install spring

There is a small edge stick out at the base of the hollow mouth of trimmer. Put the spring in such a way that both the legs sticks out facing downwards. Once spring is installed, then slide the plastic holder (with rails) of the top blade on the spring and keep holding until you put together the bottom piece and tight it. Easy
