You may have to get it fixed. The same thing happened to me before. And I got it fixed.

1. First of all make sure that you are using an approved wall charger of Samsung Company. Because charging accessories of other brands may have different voltage parameters and may cause Samsung Galaxy S5 not charging issue.

No, charging port can be repaired without having the screen replaced, you might want to consider this though, since they are already in there fixing the power connector they might as well fix the screen and save you the disassembley charge next time. Up to you though

1. Make sure the AC outlet is working. Try connecting to a known working AC outlet.
2. Can you try a different charger to charge your tablet?
3. Can you try a different tablet to charge from your charger?
4. Can you bring the tablet to a mobile store for them to test the above?

Contact your service provider or try loggin to Cricket's official website called www.reconnectservices.net and you will be able to send yur device to their service center to fix charging port.

mostly nokia chargers doesn't make problems...
just try the following..
connect ur mobile with a system (usb cable)...
found out whether it is charging or not...
if the same prblm appears then there is a prblm in ur cell phone or power jack(socket)...
if it charged with usb cable buy a new charger

this means that your phone have develop charging port problem, that is the charging port is bad

what you have to do is to replace it with another that is of good condition

you can do the fixing your self if you have the tools to unscrew phones get a new charging port from the store unscrew your phone remove the bad month pics and fix in the new one you but from the store

note if you can't do it your self take it to a very good phone work shop around you to do the fixing for you then you will be able to charge your phone from it own charging port again.

I posted the fix to you on 6/13/2009. The fix was to replace the transistor in the charging path inside of the telephone. I had another phone that I had dropped and the display didn't work. The charging circuit still functioned. I took the transistor off the broken phone and put on new non-charging phone. It fixed just fine. Although I already posted the fix to this site, here it is again:
