Just like every 2 stroke engine. Take carb off, take off both ends and clean. Count the H and L adjustment screws turns so they can be put back the same amount of turns. Take out and clean holes

SOURCE: echo pb 200 leaf blower want start

Turn on ignition switch, Choke, prime bulb 5 times (or until fuel flows), hold throttle down and pull starter cord sharply until it tries to start, then place choke in mid position pull cord sharply again until it runs then move choke to off when it will allow it.
Also you can go to toro.com then customer care, then manuals and parts then type in model no. and download an owners manual.

SOURCE: Proper gasoline and oil mix ratio.

My echo uses 50-1 ration. Home Depot sells the small containers for Echo Leaf Blowers that you mix with one gallon of gas.

SOURCE: I have a Echo PB 2601 made a loud bang then stoped working.

Sounds like it has seized up. If the pull cord won't pull then the motor is locked up. Did you run gas/oil mix for the fuel its a 2 cycle motor...

I can't prime my carburator on my Echo GT200r weed wacker?

clean your fuel filter and then clean your carb and replace diaphram and needle and make sure hoses are good while you are at it, the methanol causes needle and diaphram to get stiff and gum up not letting fuel into carb when primed, replace your primer blb while at it

Will start and idle only....when giving gas, motor dies...unit is new Echo PB-250 blower and the problem just started...only used 4 times...

There is probably dirt blocking the main fuel supply to the engine. You need to strip and clean the carb, preferably fitting a new carb kit at the same time. Clean out all the passages and orifices by blowing them out, but be careful of loosing small parts like filter screens and screws.

ECHO PB-250 blower new used one time carb.needs adj.can this carb.be adjusted

Your machine has a rotary-valve diaphragm type carburetor. These carburetors typically only have an adjustment for the IDLE speed with an available option to control the main jet with an adjustable mixture needle.

Here is the info on the Zama rotary-valve diaphragm carburetor.

http://www.zamacarb.com/prodlist.html#RB

Some have a small adjustment needle in the center pivot of the rotory part, under a brass plug...but most have nothing. Many end users and techs are complaining about the non-adjustable carbs. They are made this way to meet the more stringent EPA emissions codes that are getting tougher each year.

Hi, there is a wire screen in the exhaust outlet that blocks up with carbon deposits. It can be removed and cleaned with a wire brush. If blocked it will give you the problem you have and also make the blower quieter than it should be. Regards Phil.
