Where is my pump filter whirlpool duet front load washer

When your Whirlpool washing machine won't drain, there's a possibility that the drain filter is clogged. The drain filter is designed to catch lint, change, credit cards and all the other things that find their way into the washer. Whirlpool washer models that have a drain pump filter are easy to disassemble so that you can access and check it. Before you go to the minimal amount of trouble it takes to check the filter, however, take a look at the drain hose behind the washer to ensure it isn't kinked.
1 - Unplug the washing machine. Lift the front end and place two-by-four blocks under each foot to keep the front elevated. 2 - Unscrew the three screws at the bottom of the panel, using a Phillips screwdriver. Remove the panel. The drain pump assembly is directly in front of you, in the middle of the machine. 3 - Unscrew the knob on the drain pump by turning it counterclockwise. Hold a bucket in front of the pump while you remove the knob to catch the water. There may be as much as 2 or 3 gallons. 4 - Turn the knob over. The filter is on the back. Check the filter and remove any debris or lint. Replace the drain filter onto the pump. Screw on the access cover. Take the machine off the blocks and plug it in.

Washer is flashing f2

F2 on a Whirlpool Duet means their is a problem with the Drain Pump or Drain Pump Filter. The Drain Pump and Filter are located at the bottom of the Washing machine. You must remove the front, bottom panel to gain access to the Drain Pump and Filter. Disconnect the Filter and Drain Hoses and clear them out. If they are clear, you may need to replace your Drain Pump.

LD error on the Whirlpool Cabrio Washer. We are trying to remove the drum to remove items

Hi

Ld error indicates long drain and flashes when the water level will not change even after the drain pump is on. To resolve this please make sure that the drain hose is not clogged and the pump is working. To gain access to the drain pump you can lay the machine on its front then remove the drain hose and replace the pump if the impeller has gone bad. Please post a comment if need more help.

Thanks

Hi

Dishwasher not draining issue usually occurs due to kinked drain pipe, clogged drain filter or drain pump. Check the drain hose for any visible clogging, remove if present. If no visible lint is present then remove then turn off the dishwasher and remove the drain hose and check for any visible clogging. If still not visible then the drain filter or drain pump is clogged and you

Whirlpool Dishwasher Model: GU2500XTPQ3 making loud whining noise

It's most likely coming from the wash motor bearings. Based upon the age of the dishwasher it might be time for a new one. Although it can be fixed by replacing the motor. It's usually easiest to change the entire sump assembly with the motor. You will have a new wash system. Part number W10782773 Dishwasher Pump Motor Part Number 8535150 Sears PartsDirect
