Husqvarna HU775H walk-behind mower. Why don't rear wheels disengage?

Remove rear baffle to gain access to the transmission. Likely the area has become impacted with debris preventing the transmission from releasing drive belt tension.

See instructions for drive belt removal, pg 18 of the owners manual. Free download of the manual at Husqvarna, see following URL.

How do cables for foot control go under foot and under cap

Most cables actually go through a cable hole in the foot control. If you are trying to replace the cable, you will need to take the foot control apart to attach the cable inside. Be very careful! Most foot controls are made of plastic and can be easily broken. Search the internet to for instructions for repairing your machine's foot control.
