I'm thinking that is the symbol for your internet browser home page. There is a button/key which opens your browser on your home page. That light may never go out - if it's just an indicator of the button/key function. Read your keyboard owner's manual.

Do a destructive full recovery, this will erase all user data.

I don't think so that the laptop supports backlit keyboard as there is no cable for keyboard lights in motherboard but i suggest to check with lenovo suport first.

Try install all Lenovo drivers from levovo website.

Connect to external usb keyboard to check. If works ok, your keyboard is defective and you should change it.

Please try to clear the connector of the keyboard and fix it correctly, it may solve the problem. else you have to replace the keyboard.

Thank you for choosing Fixya, I see that you are asking where the option for the keyboard light will be on your S10-2 Lenovo Netbook.

I am sorry to say that the S10-2 Netbook does not have that function or light under the keyboard to illuminate the keys.

All Lenovo systems do not have that kind of keyboard, only IBM would have some Laptops that have a light that can illuminate the keyboard.

I have checked every detailed manual and refference regarding the Lenovo S10-2 Netbook but there isn't anything that would specify about a light LED on the keys of the s10-2 keyboard.
