You need to find a specialist. This is a very special clock, $$$, and requires someone very knowledgable of Atmos clocks. Do not let just anybody touch it. "just cleaning" and "a lube" is a very delicate and demanding job that requires an expert, a professional. I am a professional watchmaker, make my living doing so. Find an Atmos clockmaker near you and by the way, learn how to secure the clock before you move it or you may do more damage. Good luck

mcdevito75 here, Best Bet is to visit a small watch repair shop in your area, too much bending of the latch could ruin it, then you"ll have to buy a whole new band.

Find the metal box (usually beige) housing the control panel and open it. The system backup battery is inside. Take it to Battery Warehouse or similar store and buy a new one to replace it.

While you're inside the control box, read the model number of your control panel. That can be useful for future questions.

Turn the alarm off two times. If it still indicates A/C not ready, press the * key and it will tell you what zone is open or what zone has a low battery.

If you still have the crown you may be able to put it back on yourself. However for a secure repair you would need a watchmaker to repair this.

To try yourself get some RED locktite (available at any Ace hardware store or automotive store) Put a small amount on the threads of the crown. Then screw the crown onto the stem as much as possible.

Let it sit for about 10 minutes so the locktite can cure. Then you can try using it to set the time or whatever.

If this does not work you will need a watchmaker to repair this.

Prices to fix this would vary.

there could be problems with the infrared beam emited from the device.

To fix the problem you must make the system to a test. This forces the system to check the battery thus resetting the fault. Otherwise you have to wait 4 hours for the system to self test and clear the fault.
