Crown utilizes small signal transistors as thermal tracking devices but i think that this is not the main issue with the amplifier, it could be in the output stage with some power transistors failure, does the other channel works fine?
RESPUESTA : Utilisa el Software que biene para Controlar el Amplificador con el PC o Laptop (BAND MANAGER) si no lo tiene lo baja por Iinternet. lo Instalar luego lo Abre y Busca EDIT se abre una ventana y en la parte de Abajo Dale clis a ...(RESTORE DEFAULT VALUES) Lo que esta haciendo es reiniciar el equipo, todo vuelme al estado original de fabrica.......
common problem with xti series... all the amp needs is a soft ware update contact crown and they can sort it for you... you dont have to send the amp back to them. it was a verry common fault with all the early xti amps..
From your description, I would suspect some poor solder connections inside. If you know how to work on these, check for bad connections near the voltage regulators. That is the mode common area.
You'll need to use one of the four stereo inputs on the mixer and make sure you wire the speakers separately to channels one and two of the amplifiers. Assuming both of your amps are xti series amps, that's all you have to do.
