We have Frigidaire 24 in. FDB1050REC dishwasher. The control panel has no power; no lights and nothing works. This problem started after a power outage. All circuit breakers in house ok and other outlets...

more than likely fuse is gone in plug. take dish washer out. change fuse in plug. if it doesnt work get extension lead and run it from a socket that definatly does work and plug washer into that. if nothing then its internal.

When switched on the machine trips the power. Changed fuse in plug and tried different socket but still same problem? took bot of machine no visable burn or soot marks? any ideas

Is it tripping the breaker in the breaker box? If so you have a short to ground. Could be A bad spot on the dishwasher cord. Turn power off and pull dishwasher out and check the power cord all the way back to the dishwasher terminals

Whirlpool adg 7540 no power

HI, there are four problem spots that i recommend checking. these are the most common hot spots for a non responsive dishwasher. Check each area thoroughly to address this issue.

1. No power to the dishwasher
Make sure there's power getting to the dishwasher. Check for a tripped circuit breaker or a blown fuse. Check the wall socket for power. Sometimes the power cord disconnects at the dishwasher (inside the junction box, behind the bottom kick panel), if this is the case, the wiring must be repaired or replaced.

2. Door switch
Replace if defective.

3. Timer
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

4. Selector switch
Replace if defective (note: uncommon problem).

Ran dishwasher, we to work, came home, no power, water in bottom. Breaker is not tripped, power to rest of kitchen

Although breaker has not tripped it is still worth changing the fuse in the dishwasher plug.
Nothing to lose for a few pennies.

I have no power on my dishwasher. I ran an extension cord to another outlet that I know has power and still nothing. I don have any led lights or anything. Can you help. GE model # GHDA960K03BB. Thank...

Few components may cause power failure to your Dishwasher.
1. Disconnect your power plug from the socket outlet.
2. Trace the cord to where it connected to your dishwasher.
3. Tight those connectors firmly .
4. Plug back your dishwasher power cord .Start your dishwasher.
If nothing happen, check if control board came with fuse or bimetal. check the continuity of the fuse., You may also check your latch assembly. If no power still change the console or the control board.

Whirlpool Dishwasher Not Working

Change the thermal fuse in the control and door switches. The thermal fuse is designed to fail if there is a problem with the switches.
