I lost my code to watch movies

try the password 0000 it is very common. If not watch a movie with the lowest rating possible. then you wont need the password and when the movie is on you can change it somehow. or at least when it is in. I know ive had this problem years ago and i changed it somehow

the original code is either 0000, 7774, or 7777.

It should be one of those 3, I lost my manual.

if it's a brand new and never used PS2, enter a code.
if it's a used PS2, or you forgot the code, do this:
press 'select' button-->7444-->enter new code-->re-enter new code.

do this:
when asked again for the pass code,
press 'select' button--> 7444 --> enter new pass code --> re-enter new pass code
it should play the DVD.

Just press all Zeros because when I first got my game I want it to watch moive after I was done playing the game but when the code came up I was lost at first but then my cuz told me to press zero and it work? Mabe you should try it, mabe it'll work for you.

Is this for watching videos? If so then the first time you watched a movie on ps2 you had to enter a 4-diget code. That is the code for watching movies un less you some how change it through the settings. If you don't remember the code try changing ti through settings. Other than that you could call sony playstation or try every possible number. (You might have just clicked x 4 times when this happened for the first time and accidentally set the code to 0-0-0-0 I accidentally did that.

Ok first try 0 1 2 3 because that is the preset code for the ps2 or if that dont work insert any dvd movie, go to setup and access the parental control settings(press select) When asked for your code enter "7444"; It will prompt you again to type in your password. Type "0000" and then scroll down to the movie rating options and choose "off". Hope it helps you out!

put in a disney movie or some rated g flick you should be able to re-set password
