No heat after cleaning cycle.

On bottom regular (conventional/thermal) oven, ran self cleaning. OK. Cleaned up fine. Next time tried to use, no heat, from either element, regardless of setting (temp, bake/broil). Top Oven is working fine.

Flipped breaker already and that had no effect.

I recently ran the self-clean option on my GE Profile JK955B0F5BB. Now when I set the touch pad to 350 degrees or more, the oven heats up to beyond 500.

That is not a valid model number, the issue is most likely the thermostat has failed. The part is about 12 dollars.

try turning your breaker off for 20 minutes, then try it again,, if this does not help it could have burnt out a element or the main board has went out,,, also make for sere you are getting the full 220 volts to the unit,, this will involve taking the unit out

A common problem when using self-clean functions.
It destroys parts.
Remove the rear panel from the oven and replace the thermal fuse that blew because of too high temperature.

Not heating up after cleaning

There is a thermal sensor mounted to the back of the oven if it over heats the sensor will disable the oven heating elements. replacing the part would allow the oven to heat but if you reuse the self cleaning it may go out again. some ovens need to be modified to prevent reoccurance during self cleaning cycle.

Model FEFL78CBC frigidaire oven bottom (bake) burner won't work everything else works fine --even broiler element works fine. Just used self-cleaning cycle, which did work. Next morning oven won't heat ....

We had the same thing happen and now they came and said it was the clock that needs to be replaced. They said that controls the oven. Even though clock is on and working the function for turning on the oven is not

Whirlpool 27" wall oven. no heat after self clean

Self cleaning features are not recommended by most appliance technicians. The ovens are not constructed satisfactorily to expel the 1000 degree heat, Therefore the thermal fuses blow as well as other parts failures.
Remove the oven. Remove the rear panel. Replace the thermal fuse in the back of the oven. Use Easy Off next time.

Whirlpool RF367LXS Ceramic Glass Range not working

Almost every time I run the SELF CLEAN cycle on my Whirlpool Self Cleaning range, it fails to function after completing the self clean cycle, even though it completes the cycle of cleaning and unlocks the door. What I do to solve the problem, I power off the BREAKER for the range at the main electrical panel in the house and wait 30 seconds, then power on....and the whole system works just fine until the next time I clean it. This has been a problem from the beginning. My theory is that the electronics get heated up and, like a computer, the system stalls out and needs a complete hard reboot. Good luck!
