Was there a storm last last. Check the outlet by plugging in a lamp. First. If the outlet is working then try unplugging and plugging the cord to the back of the tv. If that does not work take an computer cord and use it.
Ifthat does not work you may have a problem with the power supply.

Plug the power cord directly into a wall power outlet, and make sure that the standby light is lit (turn it on/off manually to see if anything changes). If there isn't any light, then it's most likely broken.
If the TV works again, being plugged into the power outlet in the wall, then the problem is with the cable box (i bet you figured that out too).

Tv won't turn on

Are you using a remote, or try to turn on manually. If your remote does not work, it needs to be programed to your t.v. And all remotes and t.v.s have different codes. Sometimes your cable provider will help you program your remote, or reset your cable box. My remote for my cable was not programmed, so I had to read the instructions myself to get the remote to work with the cable box channels.

Last night my tv worked just fine this morning I go turn the tv on and there's no sound but there is a picture on my 50" Hisense flat screen tv

Check all sources , ie cable box, dvd player or video game. If all have no sound check mute setting in menu or on remote. iI just cable box or sat receiver or evan att uverse box turn them of then back on. the uverse box you may have to remove power. If still no audio request service. The problem is likely the main board or speakers .

Toshiba 27D46 will not come on?

It may be a fuse. But something else may have blown the fuse. I would check the circuity of the power supply.

On your tv remote click on the "wide" button and change the setting. Also you could try the setting on your cable box that pertains to the size of your screen. If all that fails, go to the website of your tv maker and see if they could send you a manual or give you advice on how to make screen smaller.

Try unplugging set for approx 5 minutes or so, cross your fingers and re-try. Other wise sounds like power supply board failure. Some shops repair the boards others replace them

No sound from any source from speakers

check your connections again and ensure you have the audio going out. With many tv's you need to change a setting in the menu, double check that as well.
