Howdy Mike-d. here,
Hi Rosebucc,
If you are still looking for an answer to this question maybe this will help.
I have this t.v. here. It does not have a v.c.r. built-in. The time set on the t.v. should not affect the time the v.c.r. records at. What is the model of your v.c.r. ?, that is the device that needs the right time set-so it knows when to record.
Do you have the remote for this t.v. ? I don't, I use a tivo remote instead. It controls volume, mute button, channel, and power on/off.
I don't yet know the help number to call.
The MGA remote has a "Time Set" button in the lower left corner. There are also up and down arrows on the remote. The replacement remotes have "menu" buttons and "adjust" buttons. The right combination of button presses should bring the time results your looking for.
I don't have a manual yet, but if you do, it's probably in there.
There does not appear to be a way to adjust the time the way you want from the buttons on the front of the t.v.
I will post more info if I find it.
