I've never heard for model EWT606.
So, generally speaking error code is displayed as a letter "E" with two numbers, or just two numbers. For exp. E10,E50,E60....or 10,50,60 depending of model washing machine. Some of them are equipped with display (they show E50) and some other only with LEDs diode (you must count number of flashes and color light, red and green).

From various reviews from folks who own the Patio II, I'm guessing 1998-2000. I have a Patio I that was purchased in 1996. It just died and I purchased a used Patio II so I have been researching this model. Also, found some videos on Youtube from repairing/rebuilding to how to cook on one.

Code 1259 indicates a V-tec system malfuntion assuming your Honda isn't a DX? Disconnect the negative battery cable so that you can clear the code. If code returns, try cleaning and/or replacing the V-tec pressure sensor. I heard of someone that had the same 4000 rpm problem you speak of and this is where they solved their problem. I have a TEC Pattio II. I have owned the grill for almost 10 years and TEC grills have a ten year warranty on many of the parts including the burners. The burners on my grill have a ceramic inserts. The pop and loud whooshing noises indicate the ceramic insert or the seal on the burner is "cracked". I have replaced both of the inserts and burners on my grill once about 5 years ago under warranty. I have one burner now that will not stay burning and I contacted TEC today regarding the problem, and I will replace the ceramic insert only under warranty. .

The newest TEC grills like yours have the TEC Radiant Glass Infra-red Cooking System with stainless steel burners with glass surfaces. Confirm with TEC customer service that your grill has has this burner system and not the ceramic one. I assumed this burner system had eliminated the problem of the burners going out with a loud boom.

I noticed the skills of the customer service reps are lacking. You may need to talk with the manager. I love my grill and would not have any other brand or type. It is imperative to follow the cleaning instructions in you user manual.
