You probably have a gas supply problem. The fryer is not getting enough gas when both the pilot and main burners are on. Check to see that the gas supply valve is fully open. If the fryer uses a gas pressure regulator on the supply line like those manufactured by Maxitrol, there is a hexagonal fitting on top of it that looks like a large brass bolt. This is a leak limiter. To be safe, first shut off the gas and then unscrew it and inspect it to see if it's gunked up with grease. It should have two tiny holes on the sides of the bolt head. If these are blocked, the regulator will not increase the supply as demand increases. If blocked you can try clearing the holes with a paper clip, but it's best to replace the leak limiter. They are less than $5. If there is evidence of water or grease in the regulator, replace the whole regulator.

I have a Cozy W355D wall furnace. It's difficult to turn on. Replaced the thermostat, that helped some, but still have to turn it off, wait a few minutes, and turn it back on. Often still won't light.

So are you saying the pilot stays lit, but the main burner won't always fire. If this is a millivolt system you could have a weak pilot flame, not getting the pilot generator hot enough or you could have a weak pilot generator. If you are handy you can try cleaning the pilot. It may be better for a qualified service tech.

Im calling for heat from the thermastat and control panel, the boiler light and and the fan is running, but no matter how many times i keep re trying the pilot and burner will not commence, is there...

I would check to make sure control on gas valve is in on position and pilot is lit if you have a standing pilot. If you have a spark or hot surface ignitor make sure they are trying to lit pilot. If you have standing pilot model and pilot lit is not on. Turn control on gas valve to off, wait five mins. then turn to pilot. Depress botton and try to light pilot. If it lights hold down for a couple of mins. then release.. If pilot stays lit turn control to on. If thermostat is calling for heat this should bring main burner on. If pilot does not stay lit then replace thermocouple. Hope this helps. Thanks

When the thermastat turns on the furnace doesn't ignite the burners and the pilot light is lit. Everything appears to be normal, fan runs, thermastat appears to work properly.

You may have an open limit or a bad gas valve. Check and see if you get 24 volts to the gas valve, if you do then you gas valve has gone out.

Pilot light won't stay lit when you try to turn control knob to thermastat. Is it the thermocoupler, the control valve or the pilot assembly?

Once your pilot is lit the thermocouple sends millivolts to the gas valve to tell it that the pilot is lit and to allow the gas valve to open. Check to see if your thermocouple is in the pilot flame. I f it is then you will need to replace the thermocouple.

Cozy Wall Heater - Pilot won't light - push button, lite pilot, hold for over 60 seconds then it goes out. Will not light or ignite heating unit. Pilot "light" seems weak when holding button - not enough...

If your pilot looks a little weak chances are the pilot tube has a sight blockage in it. You will need to turn the gas off remove the pilot tube and get access to the opening of the tube and blow it out with your mouth air compressor or something. Reinstall pilot tube turn gas back on and re-try lighting the pilot. Now should look stronger and if it don't hold the thermocouple is bad and will need to replace it. You might be able to get one at Lowes or a hardware store like Ace Hardware. let me know what happens . ken
