The compartment for the dvd/cd, won't eject most of the time, when it does it will do it a couple of times and then stop working. It seems like it is hanging up. Any ideas? We have quit using it but if it can be fixed we would like to use it again.

NO NEED TO TEAR APART OR REPLACE THE UNIT! JUST TURN OFF THE UNIT, LEAN IT FORWARD AND A LITTLE DOWNWARD AND HIT THE LOAD BUTTON AND IT WILL OPEN. THAT'S THE TRICK!
normal issues with cd/dvd trays - gear/rubber of the tray transport worn out.
manytimes it helps if you always keep a cd/dvd in the tray (don't keep the tray empty)
it may also help if you can keep the bose 321 vertical.

If it's flashing on and off, then the DVD drive is the least of your problems. Check to see if there is a dual-voltage switch on the bass module. (if so, set it to 120v if you're in the US) As for the DVD drive--> Try another reset by unplugging the power for at least 30 seconds. Plug it back in, "Bose 321" will appear and disappear from the display, and then press the eject button before you power it back on. Wait about 3-8 seconds. If the drive won't open, it will probably need a repair. $150 for repair w/ new warranty through Bose- 800-367-4998.
