The battery is probably on its last legs. These batteries can be damaged by spending time in a deep discharged state. It may be possible to put in a new battery yourself - I just bought a used Zeepad, and the battery is bad also. Can't offer specific advice on how to change the battery - yet. An alternative to battery replacement might be to create an external battery pack, using 4 rechargeable 1.2V batteries.

You can decrease LCD brightness to improve you battery time

    I've just recently seen battery packs for supplying power from several AA batteries to devices with different barrel plugs to fit allmost everything . I saw this at Caseys but I'm sure thats not the only avlilable.Now, between the extra power pack and the standard 3 hour charge , that should work all day.

Why wont my zeepad turn on
Check the battery is charged - it may be duff and nee replaced if it is not charging or your power adaptor may not be charging it - check it with a multimeter - the power socket on laptops andf tablets are very susceptible to damage - if that fails then plug it into a pc using the usb port - it will charge very slowly as usb only has a very low charge current but be patient and if it charges up after 12 hours using the usb method you will know one way or another whether its the battery or the power socket or charger.

Upon first use, you have to charge the battery overnight. Then for every recharge, you may have to keep it connected to the charger for at least 4 to 6 hours depending on your tablet, otherwise, your battery will go kaputt in a short period of time.

Just recieved my tablet and lock indicator is on, how do I unlock for first time use.
Try pressing on the lockwith your finger and sliding it to the right. Hope this helps.

Zeepad 7.0 will not accept a charge. Will not come on even when plugged in. Shows a Battery with an exclamation point (!)

My zeepad 7.0 battery is dead
Hi, Zeepad battery is PBS01SHz10 is a japanese battery, similar to nokia BL-5k battery.
Open a zeepad is easy, the problem to find these kind of battery. I am thinking in change the internal connector to adapt the nokia n86 battery, is more easy to find almost here in Venezuela.

It could be possible that you battery is gone, its not working so you can change it and have a check if its working or not This Table is still in warranty period so you can visit to the show room or that shop from where you brought it. They will help help you out for sure.
