That is not a problem. follow these steps and you wont have a problem. unfortunately the password for the volume lock is whatever you set it as but you can do this. Plug in your iPod and iTunes will open ( or open it youself)Select all you songs by clicking ctrl and A. (PC's: Ctrl and A at the same time. Mac's: Apple and A at the same time.) Right click your songs. Click "Get Info" Click "Yes" Click the "Options" tab Check "Volume Adjustment" Put the Curser all the way to "+100%". Select Ok! Hidden Folder for Mac's Enable hidden folders. If you go into Terminal and run these two commands all the hidden files appear when you open Finder. defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles TRUE killall Finder To get back to hiding hidden files use these commands defaults write com.apple.finder AppleShowAllFiles FALSE killall Finder Navigate to the hidden folder named "iPod_Control", and once there click on the folder "Device". Once there, delete the file named "_volumelocked". Eject your iPod. Then, restart your iPod. You can do this by holding down the center and menu button for at least 6 seconds. Once your iPod has rebooted, check and make sure that it worked. Simply go into "Settings", "Volume Limit". If it asks for a PIN, you did it WRONG. Retry the above procedure.
Hidden folders for windows PC Enable hidden folders. In Windows explorer,go to "Tools", "Folder Options". Then click on the tab called "View", and under "Hidden Files and Folders", click "Show Hidden Files and Folders". Navigate ("My Computer" to double-click on the icon of your attached iPod) to the hidden folder named "iPod_Control", and once there click on the folder "Device". Once there, copy the file named "_volumelocked" to a folder on your hard drive then delete it from the iPod. Eject your iPod. Then, restart your iPod. You can do this by holding down the center and menu button for at least 6 seconds. If using an iPod Nano, hold down the center button and menu button simultaneously for about 10 seconds. Once your iPod has rebooted, check and make sure that it worked. Simply go into "Settings", "Volume Limit". If it asks for a PIN, you did it WRONG. Retry the above procedure.
Warning: Note that some methods may not work on all iPods. Not all ipods have the file called "_volumelocked" it is impossible to get better sound on some of the ipod gens, for example the 5g 60-80 gigabyte ipods. Don't Listen to music too loudly. It will destroy your hearing. Don't delete any more files than necessary as it may prevent your iPod from working

Volume limit password reset on ipod nano

Hi
How to Unlock iPod Volume Limit

Your iPod volume can be limited, and in many instances, a PIN number will be necessary to remove the limit. If you've forgotten or misplaced your PIN, you can still unlock your iPod volume limit using your computer.
1 Connect your iPod to your PC. Make sure your hidden folders are visible.
2 Navigate to the "iPod_control" folder. This will be a hidden folder. Once you've found the "iPod_Control" folder, navigate to the "Device" folder.
3 Locate the file named "_volumelocked" in the "Device" folder. Delete this file.
4 Eject and restart your iPod.
5 Navigate to "Settings" on your iPod. Select "Volume Limit." You'll be able to reset your volume limit with a PIN or password.

Tips & Warnings
Do not listen to your iPod at high levels for long periods of time; doing so can damage your hearing.

Dont know the code to unlock my ipod screen and volume limit

this should help you below. If you have set a password on the volume limit and forgot the password please let me know cause you will then have to remove the password or restore the device. This is only one step in trying to remove the volume limit it may work or it may not and you will have to use another method. But please tell me if this method works and if it doesnt i will instruct you on where to go from here. To set the maximum volume limit for iPod classic: 1 Choose Settings > Volume Limit. The volume control shows the current volume. 2 Use the Click Wheel to select the maximum volume limit. You can press Play to hear the currently selected song play while you select the maximum volume limit. 3 Press Play/Pause to set the maximum volume limit. A triangle on the volume bar indicates the maximum volume limit. 4 Press the Menu button to accept the maximum volume limit without requiring a combination to change it. Or, on the Enter Combination screen, set a combination to require that the combination be entered to change the maximum volume limit. If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with
which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device
(or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the
device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not
be present Follow the steps that i have outlined below. If this does not completely help your situation please
let me know and i will be glad to assist you. According to Apple, if you have forgotten the code, you can unlock the IPod by doing the following: 1 If you can't unlock IPod using either [the code or connecting it to the computer you use to manage
its songs. . . Plug the iPod USB cable into the bottom of the iPod Nano. 2 Plug the other end of the iPod USB cable into a free USB port on a Mac or PC computer. 3 Open the iTunes application by clicking on the Dock icon on a Mac or using the Start menu on a PC. 4 Click on the name of your iPod Nano under the "Devices" list in the iTunes window. 5 Click on the "Sync" button to establish a connection between your iPod and the computer. 6 Click on the eject symbol next to your iPod's name after the syncing process has finished. 7 Unplug your iPod Nano. The device will be unlocked and you will be able to access all normal features
again. if that does not work you can restore your iPod to factory settings using iPod Updater. Please note
that this will erase all data on your iPod. Afterwards, you can add your music and data back to your iPod. If you want to change the primary computer that your IPod is associated with, do this: 1. Restore your iPod. WARNING: The restore process cannot be undone. All of your songs and files will be deleted. Always make a backup of your important data. 2. Connect your iPod to the computer that you want to be the primary computer. 3. Open iTunes and synchronize. Apple also notes that company "representatives cannot unlock an iPod if you forget your combination.
If you can't unlock your iPod and you don't have access to the primary computer, your only option is
to restore the IPod, which will erase all music and data." If you need further assistance please feel free to follow up with a comment and i will be here to
assist you. If this assisted you please feel free to rate the comment. thanks and have a great day.

Ipod Nano can't unlock volume lock

From my experience with iPods, the only way to get rid of lock codes that you can't remember is to do a restore on your iPod. This will result in all data being removed from it however. But if you have a backup on your computer of everything you have, then you should be fine. You will have to reload all your music and stuff.
