And it won't print any documents. Why?

This has to do with the document printing properties. When you are ready to print a document, choose properties and make sure you go through the printer settings under that software.
The test page only verifies the cartridges. The printer properties of the software control the printer during printing.

Most likely your printer head is clogged. This happens a lot to printers all the time. Sometimes they take 5-7 cleaning cycles before showing positive results.
I would recommend referring to the owners manual or support section of Dells website for detailed instructions on how to go about activating the cleaning process.

Clean the scanner bed glass, as well as the ADF platen glass using a lint-free cloth and a glass cleaner.
That will fix it.

Try removing the toner cartridge and gently rotating it back and forth. Often the toner will bunch up like a snow drift and where there is little toner you'll have light or no print. If that doesn't do the trick try another toner cartridge.
