I need a bearcat betty frequency guide. can u help?? YEAH, it's for a BC60XLT-1.

Don't waste your money on a publication that's out of date before it's printed. For a comprehensive database of active frequencies and systems in your area, and a lot of other useful scanning information, visit:

30 channel 10 band radio scanner uniden 8c60xlt

You listed your question under the BC60XLT, which is a 10-channel scanner. With 30 channels, I'm guessing that yours is actually a BC60XLT-1. To program a known frequency into it:

- Power the scanner ON.
- Press MANUAL.
- Enter the channel number that you wish to program.
- Press MANUAL again. (NOTE: Instead of entering the channel number, you can press MANUAL repeatedly to advance to the desired channel.)
- Enter the frequency, including the decimal point.
- Press E to store the information in memory.
- Repeat the above for other channels.

More detailed information can be found in the scanner operating manual, which you can download/print here:

http://www.uniden.com/pdf/BC60XLT-1om.pdf

If your scanner is a different model, pleasd let me know.

How do i program the BC60XLT-1 scanner

This is a pretty straightforward scanner with 30 channels. To program it, turn the scanner ON, press the MANUAL button to stop scanning, and then use MANUAL to advance to the desired channel. Enter your desired frequency, including the decimal point, and then press E (Enter). Use the MANUAL button to advance to the next channel, and then proceed as above.

For complete information on your scanner, here's a link to the owners manual:

How do I reset the scanner frequencies all at once; what is the button combination to push

There is no master reset/clear function on this scanner, but with only 10 channels it's fairly simple to enter "0.0E" on each channel to clear the programmed frequency.

Is there a way to scan the entire freq range on a uniden BC60xlt-1?

The BC60XLT does not have a global search feature. In fact, this simple scanner has no search feature of any kind. Reception is limited to 10 user-programmable frequencies and 7 factory-programmed NOAA weather frequencies. If you need a manual for your scanner you can download it here:

Uniden bearcat bc60xlt-1 channels wont unlock

Channels have to be programmed with a frequency before the scanner will allow them to be unlocked. The L/O indicator should automatically turn off once a frequency is in memory.
