Had the same problem, your ice maker is a known defect, insist they replace it. Don't expect heavy ice output -- our biggest complaint.

SOURCE: My Samsung French Door RF266ABPN has a warm

I have read that if you unplug the unit and plug it back in again, it will "reset" it. I would wait 15 or so minutes before replugging just to be sure. Of course, this solution doesn't preclude the problem from happening again - sounds like a manufacturing defect to me.

SOURCE: RF263 series Samsung Refrigerator just began

Hi

The sound comes when there is ice build up around the fan and the fan will hit it causing this sound. You can try to leave it unplugged for around 4-24hrs and also make sure that the area near the back is clear so that airflow can get through. If the issue returns then replace the thermostat. Hope this helps...please post back for further assistance.

The left side door has dropped and the piece that closes the gap between the two doors will not operate properly. It leaves the gap open and the refrigerator looses coolness. Need to know how to realign...

Check the lower hinge of that door for a broken closer cam. The upper hinge is adjustable and adjusting the corners in the front will shift the cabinet to align the door also.

The door of the fridge does not close properly, You have to press hard on the door so that it closes airtight. Also, the freezer does not have a light.

The door closing can be a couple things. The door can be sagging. This can be fixed at the hinge pins. It can be overloaded with heavy things, causing the bottom to twist outward, this can be fixed by not storing as much weight in the door. And it could be the door seal. Replacement is required, if it doesn't have the elasticity that it should. I would try the first two things first, the door seals are not cheap. When it is fully aligned, close the door on a dollar bill. It should have a little resistance when pulling it out The more, the better.
The freezer light could just be a stuck switch in the door. Condensation can get in it and freeze when the door shuts, holding the switch in the off position.

Bottom freezer door on our LG is out of adjustment. One side closes tight the other has a .25" gap.

The easiest way to fix that is to pull the freezer door all the way out and give it a good little tug, you will see the plastic covers on the side rails there will be a little gap about one inch on each side make sure those gaps are even. Your door should be aligned

Doors creak loudly when closed and pushed from the outside. Don't when open.

This short solution may help solve your creaking problem. First thing is make sure the freezer door is capable of closing properly and is not rubbing or catching anywhere. I sometimes add a washer or 2 to the center hinge under the freezer door so it doesn't rub anything. Put a little Vaseline ( or food grade silicone lubricant ) on the hinge side of the seal. I then raise the front of the refrigerator so that the front of the refrigerator is a little higher than the back of the refrigerator. Never level a fridge with a level. Once you have the door closing properly and front slightly higher than the back...let the fresh food door close from 90 degrees on it's own and the freezer door may "pop" open a little but will close again on it's own...and stay closed once all is set up properly. We see this more often now and have no trouble with the door staying open again after setting up the refrigerator properly. Putting vaseline insid the hinge pins too is a good idea.
Let me know if I can assist you better, Thanks, Sea Breeze

Freezer door rubbing

take the freezer door off and put a washer or two on the bottom hinge. sometimes there are extra plastic washers on the top hinge that you can move to the bottom to lift it up.
also check if the hinge is bent or loose, as this may cause the problem.
