Drivers
Just search for the Model and type of Dell printer you have to get the Driver you need for your printer.
Here is a link which will direct you to your model type but you will need to enter details about your computer for what windows and stuff like that.
V305 Driver

For your printer to print documents, you need to have the correct driver installed. This is what would have been on the CD. You can get the driver straight from the vendor's site. Save the file to your desktop. Run it, and it will extract the driver onto your hard disk. After, it should start installing. If it doesn't, you can run setup.exe in c:\Dell\Drivers\V305 . Restart your computer, and you should be able to print. Good luck!

I cannot find a separate software download for the Imaging Toolbox. I can only assume it comes with the driver itself when installed.

If you have the disk for the printer, uninstall the printer software you have already installed using the Add/Remove Programs from the Control Panel. Restart your computer and look under the Start>Printers and Faxes and make sure it is not listed.

disconnect the USB cable from either the computer or printer and insert your disk and install as you did originally. Connect the USB cable when prompted.This should reinstall the driver and Imaging Toolbox.

If you do not have the disk, you can download the software from the Dell website at:

Download the software to your desktop. Uninstall the previous software...reboot...then double-click the file on your desktop.

NO Dell do NOT support Macs on there printers - BUT most of Dells printers are re-branded Lexmark engines - so if you can find the equivalent lexmark - you may find a driver lexmark makes all of dells printers the v305 or v305w is a lexmark model X4650. the Mac driver is here http://support.lexmark.com/index?page=content&productCode=LEXMARK_X4650&actp=PRODUCT&id=DR9768&segment=DOWNLOAD&userlocale=EN_US&locale=en

right click on my computer icon then clcik on proeprty then hardware 0>device manager
then uninstall all usb drivers then restart the computer .
If still face problem then change usb cable.
If still same then when you power up the computer press F1 or f2 or 'del' key to enter in bios then go to advanced then usb enable usb legacy 2.0 then save settings then check.

if you cd that came with it unistall and reinstall ,,if dont work go to dell web site and download the printer files you need
