check for spark by pulling of the spark plug wire remove the spark plug and pull the engine over while holding the spark plug against the cylinder head
I think it is i will probably have to pull the timing belt, it sounds
like it probably skipped due to the serpentine belt cords wrapped around
something under the timing belt cover, any other suggestions on
alternate causes before I start pulling the brand new timing belt?12
You will probably have to disassemble the rewind assembly and either replace the rope and/or straighten out the cord and properly reconnect it to the flywheel connection. Kits usually are available at the Sears parts store or lawn and garden centers that handle lawn mowers everywhere.
