Consult your users manual for specific instructions on oven programming issues. A manual can be located online at www.repairclinic .com if you need one.

Press " My Settings" and the number 6 and then the number 1 or 2 to turn off the demo mode

You can reset it by unplugging the oven for about 1-2 minutes, plugging it back in, then setting the clock.

Otherwise, refer to the owner's manual.

My Samsung did this as well. Unplug for at least two minutes and plug back in. Press the clock button twice. Set the time and press clock button once more. Doesn't have to be correct time, any time will do as you can go back and set correct time later. After pressing clock it should be out of demo mode. Try 1 second on high cooking. This should take care of the problem.

Seems like I've answered this before, but the MR5493G is subject to a recall due to defective keypad (membrane switch) and can be seriously dangerous.
