Our dishwasher is more than 10 years old since this house was built. It ran fine until recently there was a water overfill due to clogged sink. After we fixed the clogged sink, the dishwasher will not fill water at any cycle but can still be turned 'on'. We suspect the inlet valve was closed by the overfill protection.
How can we turn this inlet valve open again?
Thanks a lot,
Susan
If when turned on the dishwasher sounds like it is running the drain pump, and does this in any cycle setting, it is possible that the drain pan below the unit has filled with water. Check this post for more details.
