SOURCE: replacing belt
Put The Belt On The Motor First Then Put What You Can Get Of The Belt On The Other Pulley And Turn It. It Will Give You The Anchorage Needed To Put The Belt Back In Position. If This Doesn't Help Let Me Know And I Will Further Assist You.
Sincerely,
Michael Scott
SOURCE: I need to replace the belt
You shouldn't have to remove the pump to replace the belt. The motor mount can be loosened and the motor moved so the belt will fit over all pulleys without removing the components.
Loosen motor, move it in, install belt, move motor out to correct belt tension, tighten motor mounts.

here is the image on how to change the belt......it's pretty easy to do as you can see by the diagram.PS2027742 is the part number on the belt.
SOURCE: Tighten the belt on an Amana washer?
The belt should already be pretty tight after wrapping around the barrel and the motor pulley. The belt may be worn and should be inspected and probably replaced.
To prevent similar problems in the future I suggest you be aware of how big of a load you put in the washer.

Use the correct sized belt!!
Loosen the Motor mounting Bolts. ( Do not take it off ) Now the motor assembly can be moved towards the opposite large pulley.
Replace the belt in this position and slide the motor to it's original position. You adjust it in such away so that, the belt is not too tight or loose!
