My Pc is not picking up D-760 Olympus driver?

The sound your camera is making, is probably the slipping from the gears, grinding them down, because something is blocked. Even when you can't see any blockage. Please don't leave the battery in, to avoid more damage. Contact a certified Olympus repair centre, or visit your dealer with the camera.

First step to trouble shoot. Connect a low voltage ohm-meter to the battery contacts inside the camera. Try to turn camera on. If you get a reading, write down the number of ohms. If possible, compare this with a brand new one, if store will let you. Or call the USA distributor. If ohms number is way low, you have problems inside the camera. If number is normal, the battery is no good.

i dont know, just give to a fixer in ure city, if u do it your self , and they see that you taped it, your warrante fals away so its better to not fix by ureself

I assume you properly installled the software drivers for the camera.

Did you check the user instructions for any details that deal with the camera's ports, set-up of the memory card, or any set-up dealing with file transfers?

Did you call the tech support for the camera?

It is possible that there is a failure in the camera. This could be with the camera's USB port, or with something in its processing.

If all of this does not work, you will have to bring the camera in for service.

I just called technical support and they told me the camera has an internal problem. You have to call them if your camera is still under warranty and send it to a repair center.
