When ever i attach its usb pin to my computer the it reply that your usb cannot br reconegnized by the computer althoug i reinstalled the window.my printer usb cable is correct and it is in working...

Enter '1700n' and download the device-driver for your printer and your Operating System.
Unplug your printer's USB cable.
Then, when you install the device-driver software, connect the printer when you are told to connect it.

Hi, first; lets’ start from scratch. Turn off your (Computer), turn off the (Printer), unplug the printer from the power outlet; do not make any changes to the computer. Disconnect (all) the printer cables from the computer; reconnect the cables to the computer, and plug in to power outlet. Turn on the computer (first), turn on the printer. Go to; Control Panel, (Hardware and Sound), click Printer; if the Printer is present; click to open, Properties, click (Drivers): Update Drivers. Restart computer. Thanks paul7of9

Dell 1700n error light after print job.

double pressing the continue button twice , the printer will give a secondary error code: then check here (link below) : toner is low, with blinking lights = Replacing the Imaging Drum

Dell 1700N

We had a printer with the same problem, and turning the pickup wheels inside out (on the back of the paper tray) solved the problem.
