A new pc i just built will only power on for one second and the shuts off. Here's my specs: I5-4670 K ,. MSI Z87-GD65 , 8gb Kingston Hyper X Fury , Gigabyte GTX 770 OC 2Mb, Evga 750 G2 PSU.. All fans

New built pc only powers up for one second and shuts off. I have no clue whats going on. any help would be greatly appreciated. Just finished building it this afternoon.

I was going to suggest the cpu had enough thermal grease because if its booting then shutting off something may be getting to hot,

Now remember, the G2 main board cable has 2 connections on one end, and one on the other. You have to make sure both are connected. This is a common issue.

If this doesn't work, check to make sure that all your cards are properly seated.

Hi I'm having problems installing windows 7 on my computer I think it may have something dealing with my motherboard I m running a MSI P55M-GD41 mother board with intel i5-661 processor and 4GB of 2 2GB...

One bad lead will cause your computer to shut down or continue in a cycle
replace all the leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions + IDE,SATA and the ones that attach from your motherboard to your hard drive

If you have had this problem sence the system was built and your power supply is less then 400 Watts. You will need a 400 Watt power supply or higher. Check the specs for our motherboard.
