I got this ice machine for 5 years and last month it makes noise and I found out the noise comes from the water pump. I call the local hoshizaki retail then cost me $465 for water pump ONLY. Do you know somewhere else I can buy the compatible water pump for this model. This water-pump almost 1/3 of the new price ice machine. If you know where I can rent the ice machine also. Thanks,

Always attempt to have Hoshizaki pumps rebuilt when possible. The parts are cheap compared to buying a new pump. Check ebay from time to time I have just started tearing units down and selling the used parts, that are still functional. Sold that pump for $75 last week

Hoshizaki prices are only going to go up due to a weak dollar and a stronger Yen. Buy an Iceomatic and your costs will decrease and find a new pump for around $100.00. Buying used parts is a shortcut and be prepared to pay for other problems as well. There are no shortcuts when it comes to commercial refrigeration equipment.
