no info on stove so cant answer correctly --but most can be converted or have a conversion kit available do online search of make and model

Steam or electric are probably cheapest TO RUN... But most expensive to buy.... Butane would probably be next... It is actually a Mixture of Butane, Methane and a few others... In Australia it is the same as we use for the BBQ..... This would probably be next.... but unless the car is Factory converted,... then you will probably need some Petrol/Gasoline just to start .. You use maybe 2 or 3 Cupfuls each time so you don't use Much... It is also a Good backup if you run out of LPG....... The rest... it depends on th e Government and Fuel Companies which one is cheapest but what it SHOULD be id From cheapest up... Diesel, Unleaded, Premium Unleaded
Forget the rest... They would be cheap to run but the conversion would be so expensive it would be not worth the effort

Can you run it now from propane? If yes, then I would check the mechanism that converts it to NG.

I think natural gas (or methane) barbecues are quite thin on the ground and most use either butane or propane.

The jetting for a natural gas appliance is quite large due to the gas being a particularly or relatively low calorific value.

There isn't a huge difference between the jetting of the butane and propane powered appliances and considering a barbecue is designed to be used outside in free air, there is little point in the fine tuning for perfect combustion and so the two gases can be considered interchangeable in most instances and certainly most people running a butane appliance on propane find it more satisfactory in all aspects especially when the temperature falls and butane freezes in the cylinder, propane doesn't.

When buying a propane regulator I would tend to opt for the adjustable type due to the added versatility, can be used with a blowtorch for instance...

Ranges come set from the factory for natural gas. To convert it to propane, you should call your propane co and have a qualified serviceman do the work. You can void the warranty if you try to do it yourself and break something or don't convert it correctly. On an expensive range like this, you'll be better off having a professional do it right and keep that warranty intact. It could take 1 1/2 to 2 hours to complete the job. You may need to purchase an LP conversion kit if some of the orifices have to be exchanged, like on a unit with sealed stovetop burners. Write down the make, model # and serial # for reference when you make an appt to have it done. Hope that helps.

check the oil sensor circuit. I know when I take out or short out the sensor ckt on mine, it'll keep on running. low oil isn't good for any motor.

I have worked on gas products for many years and have converted many from lp to natural gas and from natural gas to lp. What you want to do i would never try.
